Petr was born 13 years ago as a completely healthy and very skilled child. He took his first steps at 8 months and at 12 months he was already running around the garden and kicking a ball that was up to his waist. He was 3 years old and he could climb a children's climbing wall, ski down a hill and loved riding his fist bike.

Unfortunately, 10 years ago he had a serious car accident. Petr's father died and Petr and his mother were transported by helicopter to the hospitals. Petr has been resuscitated for 15 minutes and the prognosis was very bad. He has an injured spinal cord in the area which affects vital functions and he is able to move only his right arm and has a tracheostomy.

Petr is a hard worker and definitely does not give in to the fate. He goes to a regular elementary school with an assistant, loves mathematics and physics, and rehabilitates every day. He likes to play chess, ride his bike for the disabled with his mother, travel and sing. He is able to use a computer and iPad independently. Unfortunately, he is completely dependent on another person's help for other activities.

Sometimes it is very difficult, during times of the bad respiratory situation he is not allowed to join the school team. Every viral infection represents a significant health risk and the new complications arise with increasing age, such as scoliosis, etc. However, do not expect a sad child. Petr is a joker with a sense of black humour and a boy who really loves his life.
